In addition to taking breaks to get up and move around, there are many easy stretches and exercises you can do right at your desk to help stay comfortable.

1. Upper body and arm stretch

• Clasp hands together above your head with palms facing outward.
• Push your arms up, stretching upward.

• Clasp hands behind your back.
• Push the chest outward and pull arms down while raising the chin.
• Hold the pose for 10 to 30 seconds.

3. Torso stretch

• Keep your feet firmly on the ground, facing forward.
• Turn and place one arm on the back of your chair.
• Twist your upper body in the direction of the arm that’s resting on the back of your chair.
• Hold pose for 10 to 30 seconds.
• Repeat on the other side.

4. Hamstring stretch
